AMS Graduate Student
Welcome!
We are an official Graduate Student Chapter of the American Mathematical Society. Our purpose is to foster a greater understanding of mathematics, encourage student activity in research and related mathematical experiences, and provide a social and intellectual forum for all students interested in mathematics.
We function as a student organization with student officers and members, but all of our events are open to the public, and we welcome participation from everyone
MISSIONS
We promote learning, exploration, and discovery of mathematics. We also help students find opportunities and training that contribute to their mathematical educations and careers.
We hold events to inform, educate, and inspire. We also facilitate interaction among undergrads, graduate students, and faculty to help students form peer networks and connect with mentors.
We cultivate a close-knit community of scholars and foster an atmosphere that provides encouragement, camaraderie, and support for all of our members and event participants.
