MATH 1050 - Elementary Functions of Calculus

General Course Information

Course Description: An intensive study of the elementary functions required for calculus. These functions will include polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions. Emphasis is on algebraic structure and graphs. Analysis of conic sections and analytic geometry is included.

Prerequisite: MATH 1040 with a grade of “C” or better or pass the Math Placement Test
